 Dr. Landy was born in Warwick and schooled at Purvis Primary, The Berkeley Institute and Bermuda College.

In 1990 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University and returned to Bermuda where she has worked ever since.

Dr. Jewel Landy has trained with some of the world's most prominent dental specialists.

She is becoming known as Hamilton area's leading dentist for people who want implant and cosmetic dentistry.
 
Advanced Implant Dentistry Courses
= She has completed a 270 hour Masters program from the Pacific Institute of Implant Dentistry held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.  
= She has completed the 300 hour implant Maxi Course provided by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.  This course was held at New York University.  (AAID)
= Having completed these courses she is now in the process of completing the Associate Fellowship program offered by AAID and has successfully passed the written portion.
= She was awarded in 2005 an implant Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. (ICOI)
   
Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry Courses
= Dr. Landy has taken five extensive advanced courses with the Las Vegas Institute for cosmetics (LVI). She has certificates for comprehensive full mouth restorations, occlusion, posterior restorations and anterior esthetics
= She has completed seven courses Occlusion from Dr. Peter Dawson in Florida. (Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study)
= She has extensive training in soft tissue grafting from Dr. Pat Allen in Texas (Center for Advanced Dental Education)  and Dr. Mike Pikos in Florida (Pikos Implant Institute)
= She has taken extensive courses in bone grafting through American Academy of Implant Dentistry
= Certificate of completion for Invisalign  2008
